Sky remotes.com is owned and operated by Replacement Remotes Ltd. We have been operational for just over 3 years now and in that time, we have supplied literally thousands of SKY remotes and replacement remote controls for all sorts of different sorts of equipment. We hold all the latest versions of SKY Remotes in stock and can also offer friendly and helpful advice on many aspects of connecting up your SKY receiver.

All our remotes are the genuine SKY units and NOT cheap imports or copies. You may well see cheaper variants on sites like ebay, however, they will be in all likeliness a far east copy or maybe even stolen.

Our other site Replacement Remotes specialises in remote controls for television sets both past and present. We also provide a range of universal remotes, cables, switchers and TV stands.

Ordering and Shipping
Items ordered before 3pm will be dispatched within 24 hours. We use Royal Mail 1st / 2nd class post for orders under £30.00 so please allow up to 4 working days delivery. Please make absolutely sure that you have entered in your delivery address correctly and if your letterbox is very small make sure there is somebody there to open the door to the postman. If your item does not arrive within 15 days please let us know and we will investigate further with the Royal Mail. At this time, we do not allow customer collections.

International Orders
We gladly accept international orders. Please proceed with your order and see if your country is listed in the checkout. If it is not, please contact us and we will quote you for shipping.

Returns Policy
If your item is faulty please contact us to arrange a return number. You must send the remote back to us with your returns number clearly indicated either on the package or in a covering letter. Please make sure you have either a Certificate of posting (Free From any post office) or send the order back recorded delivery. We accept no responsibility for ltems lost in the post that have been returned to us. Items must be in the original packaging and not damaged in any way.
Please note, items ordered in error or simply not wanted anymore will incur a 30% restocking fee.

Site Security
When you place orders we use a secure server. The secure server software (SSL) encrypts all information you input before it is sent to us. Furthermore, as required by the UK Data Protection Legislation, we follow strict security procedures in the storage and disclosure of information which you have given us, to prevent unauthorised access. Our security procedures mean that we may occasionally request proof of identity before we are able to disclose sensitive information to you.

All sensitive data such as credit card numbers is collected on our secure server. Our server has been certified by Thawte A Thawte certificate basically means that we are who we say we are. In order for one to be isued, we must prove that we are the owners of the business and reside where we say we do. Having this certificate acts as a seal of trust. We DO NOT store any credit card numbers on our servers.

Our payment gateway is supplied by bucks.net who simply communicate with the card issuing bank to authorise payments.

Contrary to belief, Internet payments are an extremely safe way of using your credit card especially when you consider that handing over your card to a waiter in a restaurant could be far more risky as you have no idea what happens whilst the card is in their possesion. Also in many cases, credit card companies will cover you should your card ever be used fraudulently.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998). We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service. We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent. We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing email from us or from another trader in the future. The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly. The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law. If we intend to transfer your information outside the EEA (European Economic Area) we will always obtain your consent first. We may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site. This can include using a "cookie" which would be stored on your browser.
